You may need to update your plan

We are sending our condolences to everyone suffering the effects of the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Ian. We want to offer our help to Medicare beneficiaries who have been displaced from the Southeastern United States. Call us at 1-888-376-2028 if you have any questions about your coverage.
If you have been displaced or moved out of your service area, you may need to update your plan information to ensure you do not have a coverage gap.
Keeping your plan information up to date is especially important for beneficiaries with Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans since you have an insurance network. You may face higher costs for seeking care out-of-network.
With most Medicare Advantage or Part D Plans, you will not be disenrolled from your plan if you are outside of your network for up to 11 months. You can keep your current plan in place.
However, if you anticipate that you will be outside of your Medicare network for longer than 11 months, you should update your plan information. You will be granted a Special Enrollment Period to find a new plan that suits you. The window to switch plans is open for two full months after you move.
There are countless variables and stresses when facing a catastrophe, such as relocating after a natural disaster. For those of you in the midst of a crisis, we are here for you. If you have questions about how your Medicare coverage has been affected by circumstances beyond your control, call us at 1-888-376-2028.
